In this regular column, every day we look at the most interesting news that revolves around the California company Apple. Here we focus exclusively on the main events and selected (interesting) speculations. So if you are interested in current events and want to be informed about the apple world, definitely spend a few minutes on the following paragraphs.

Foxconn has begun hiring for iPhone 12 production

The introduction of this year's generation of Apple phones is slowly coming to an end. It happens every year in September, and the phones go on sale after a few days. But this year will be an exception. We have already informed you about it in our daily summary from the world of Apple displacement, which was first shared by the famous leaker Jon Prosser, then the giant Qualcomm joined, which is preparing 5G chips for the upcoming iPhones, and then this information was confirmed by Apple itself.

In the vast majority of cases, the production itself, or rather the assembly of all parts together and the creation of a functional device, is provided by the long-time partner of the Californian giant Foxconn. It could be said that the so-called seasonal recruitment of people connected precisely with the composition of the facility is already an annual tradition. Just now the Chinese media started to report on the recruitment. From this we can practically conclude that production is in full swing and Foxconn could use every extra pair of hands. In addition, Foxconn motivates people with a relatively solid recruitment allowance of 9 thousand yuan, i.e. almost 29 thousand crowns.

iPhone 12 concept:

According to the reports leaked so far, we should expect four models of the iPhone 12 in the sizes 5,4″, two 6,1″ versions and 6,7″. Of course, Apple phones will again offer a more powerful processor called Apple A14, and there is also often talk about an OLED panel for all models and the advent of modern 5G technology.

We know the changes in the internals of the new 27″ iMac

The arrival of a redesigned iMac has been rumored for a long time. Unfortunately, we didn't have any detailed information about what changes we can possibly look forward to until the last moment. The Californian giant surprised us with a performance only last week through a press release. The 27″ iMac has received a noticeable improvement, which brings a number of great new features and once again moves several levels forward. In what would we find the mentioned changes?

The main difference can be seen in performance. Apple decided to use the tenth generation of Intel processors and equipped the basic model with an AMD Radeon Pro 5300 graphics card at the same time. The Apple company has also taken a friendly step towards users, as it has completely removed the relatively outdated HDD from the menu and at the same time improved the FaceTime camera, which now offers HD resolution or 27×128 pixels. The change also came in the field of the display, which is now proud of True Tone technology, and for 8 thousand crowns we can buy glass with a nanotexture.

The OWC YouTube channel took a look at the changes in the guts in their six and a half minute video. Of course, the biggest change inside the device is the "clearing" of the space that used to be used for the hard drive. Thanks to this, the layout of the iMac itself is significantly faster, since we do not have to bother with SATA connectors. This space has been replaced by new holders for expanding SSD disks, which are only found in versions with 4 and 8 TB storage. The absence of a mechanical disk created enough space.

In addition, some Apple fans expected that Apple would use it for additional cooling, which we can know from, for example, the more powerful iMac Pro. Probably due to price maintenance, we didn't get to see this. Still on the bottom we can notice another microphone for better audio. Of course, we must not forget about the aforementioned FaceTime camera. This is now directly connected to the display, so users have to be very careful when taking the iMac apart.

Koss sues Apple, Apple sues Koss

Last week we informed you about a new lawsuit in which audio giant Koss sued Apple. The problem is that Apple allegedly infringes on five of the company's patents with its Apple AirPods and Beats products. But at the same time, they describe the elementary functionality of wireless headphones, and it could be said that anyone who makes wireless headphones is also violating them. The Californian giant did not wait long for an answer and filed a lawsuit with six points in the state of California. The first five points refute the infringement of the mentioned patents and the sixth says that Koss does not even have the right to sue.

You can read about the original lawsuit here:

According to the Patently Apple portal, the Californian giant has also met with the company that first developed stereo headphones several times. An important factor is that the meetings in question were sealed with a non-disclosure agreement, according to which neither party can use information from the meetings for litigation. And exactly in this direction the cards turned. Koss broke the agreement, which he himself originally stood for. Apple was reportedly willing to act without a deal.

The whole lawsuit is a bit more complicated, because the patents in question relate to the aforementioned basic features of wireless headphones. In theory, Koss could have thrown himself at any company, but he deliberately chose Apple, which is the richest company in the world. Additionally, Apple requested a jury trial and filed its lawsuit in California, while the Koss lawsuit was filed in Texas. This sequence of events suggests that although Koss filed the lawsuit first, the court will likely look at Apple's lawsuit first.
