Since the brand is the third best-selling worldwide, it can clearly bear comparison with the iPhone 14. In the case of Apple, it is the iPhone 14 but also the iPhone 14 Plus, because the new product from the Chinese manufacturer ranks between both sizes of iPhones with its display.

Xiaomi 13 chooses the golden mean not only in terms of equipment, but also in terms of size. The 6,1" display is small for many, while the 6,7" display is unnecessarily large. It is the value between these sizes that can play Xiaomi's new products into the cards. Of course, the Model 13 also has no cutout, but only a hole for the selfie camera.
Performance, memory, battery
The Xiaomi 13 has the best in the Android world in the form of a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, the iPhone 14 only has the chip from the iPhone 13 Pro, i.e. the A15 Bionic. Qualcomm already manufactures its flagship chip with 4nm technology, Apple's chip from last year is still manufactured with 5nm technology. Apple's solution is six-core (2×3,23 GHz Avalanche + 4×1,82 GHz Blizzard) and Qualcomm's eight-core (1×3,2 GHz Cortex-X3 + 2×2,8 GHz Cortex-A715 + 2×2,8, 710 GHz Cortex-A3 + 2,0x510 GHz Cortex-A6). All memory variants of the iPhones have 128 GB of RAM, Xiaomi has 8 GB for the 256 GB version, the 8 GB version can be had with 12 GB or 512 GB of RAM, the 12 GB version comes with only XNUMX GB of RAM.
The Xiaomi battery is 4 mAh, the iPhone 500 will offer 14 mAh and the iPhone 3 Plus 279 mAh, and Apple says that it is its longest-lasting iPhone ever. At the American company, we are used to lower charging speed values, so last year's basic models can only do PD14 somewhere around 4 W, 323 W wirelessly through MagSafe and 2.0 W through Qi. Xiaomi 20 will offer 15W wired charging (PD7,5, QC13), where you will reach 67% charge in 3.0 minutes (iPhone reaches 4% battery capacity in 38 minutes). Wireless charging is 100W, there is also 50W reverse charging.

Whether we Apple fans like it or not, even the basic Xiaomi model, like the Galaxy S23, offers a telephoto lens. Thanks to it alone, its owners have more creative photo opportunities. As with the Xiaomi 13 Pro model, Leica worked on the optics. Of course, it will also provide video in 8K at 24 fps, which the iPhone cannot do natively. Of course, Xiaomi has an optical fingerprint scanner under the display, iPhones have their unbeatable Face ID.

The Xiaomi 13 is a worthy competitor not only for the iPhone 14, but also for the Samsung Galaxy S23 and S23+. With them, the South Korean manufacturer is trying to bring the display size closer to the iPhones, and is thus clearly losing ground for a larger and perhaps ideally large display, which is a clear advantage of the Chinese manufacturer's new product. It also scores with the price, when it is the cheapest of the entire trio.
