It has been said countless times that the iPhone X is the most expensive Apple smartphone. Its price, of course, varies from country to country - in some cases really significantly - and some of you might be wondering how long people actually have to earn to be able to buy a "ten".
Swiss Bank UBS brought an interesting overview regarding the time for which citizens of selected countries of the world have to work in order to be able to afford the latest iPhone X. A look at table is really interesting: while in Lagos, Nigeria, a person with an average income has to earn 133 long days for an iPhone X, in Hong Kong it is only nine, and in Zurich, Switzerland, even less than five. According to the table, the average New Yorker earns an iPhone X in 6,7 days, a resident of Moscow in 37,3 days.
iPhone X is, of course, an unnecessary luxury for many people, which some may not even use to the maximum. According to UBS, however, the latest flagship among apple smartphones is also a product used to compare the cost of living in different countries of the world - in the past, for example, a hamburger from Mc Donald's (the so-called Big Mac Index) served as a similar measure.
Despite the initial embarrassment and negative predictions, the iPhone X gained quite a lot of popularity and managed to achieve surprising sales successes - according to Apple, its results were better than expected. One of the most frequently mentioned negatives is its price, which is driven disproportionately high in some countries.
And in the Czech Republic?
Average gross salary 31, net salary 646, per year 23, the year has 860 working days, so per working day the net salary is 286. On the iPhone X, he earns CZK 320 in 250 working days.
Well, you probably didn't notice that the Czech Republic will be behind Laos and other countries in Africa and Asia, probably somewhere at the very end.
and the average immigrant?
Even if it was half the price, it would still be overpriced. I have a strong suspicion that the millions of units sold are the responsibility of the German government, which gives them away for free to illegal immigrants. I mean, it's not actually free, it's for taxpayers' money.
the article is written in length, it should be there. how many days does a person have to work to be able to buy an iph X, the price is not allowed to grow and live, the fact that a Zurich resident earned it in 4.5 days is fine, that's approx. 8000,- per day earnings, which I suck at, nothing will be left for him to live on, but for someone who can't make it in 30 days, it's irrelevant.
but earn 8000 a day? I don't know
