Apple unveiled its first spatial computer at last year's WWDC. At least that's what he calls the Vision Pro product, which is a certain headset with only a lofty label, although the fact is that it has the potential to redefine the market to some extent. But when will it finally be available?

Apple took its time. Its WWDC23 took place in June of last year and the company immediately stated that we will not see the product that year. Right after the presentation, we learned that this should happen during Q1 2024, i.e. between January and March of this year. Actually, already now.

Start of sales soon

Now we've learned that we won't be waiting until the end of the quarter, and that there won't be a delay, which we certainly wouldn't be surprised by. Well-known analyst Mark Gurman from Bloomberg recently stated that preparations for the start of sales are already in full swing. His sources discovered that Apple is already supplying distribution warehouses in the US with this headset, from which the Apple Vision Pro will then begin to be sent to individual stores, i.e. brick-and-mortar Apple Stores.

So it should mean only one thing – Apple Vision Pro should officially go on sale at the end of January or the beginning of February. It is therefore very likely that Apple will issue a press release this week, in which it will inform about the start of sales. In addition, we could learn the exact prices of the individual versions, because the company certainly does not have just one ready. This also applies to accessories.

Moreover, the timing is opportune. CES 2024 starts tomorrow and Apple could steal the spotlight from many products and make it their own with this announcement. In addition, it is more than certain that the fair will show several copies of Apple's solutions, as it happens every year, even with regard to phones or watches. He could easily burn down their pond.

What about the Czech Republic?

Apple Vision Pro will initially be sold only in Apple's homeland, i.e. the USA. Over time, of course, there will be expansion, at least to Great Britain, Germany, etc., but the small country in the middle of Europe will surely be forgotten. It's all Siri's fault, which is why even the HomePod isn't sold here (although it can be bought on the gray market). It simply means that if there is an Apple Vision Pro in the foreseeable future, it will only be an import.

In addition, until Apple launches Czech Siri, it will not sell HomePod or anything from the Vision portfolio here. Of course, this does not mean that the device does not work here. The HomePod is also fully usable here, but Apple is hiding from possible problems with the fact that someone would criticize it precisely because it cannot use the Czech language for control. So here you can't even say the well-known "in a year and a day," but it's running several years ahead.

Update (January 8 15:00)

So it didn't take long before Apple actually released press release with Vision Pro availability. The pre-sale starts on January 19, and the sales start on February 2. Of course, only in the USA, as we wrote above.
