It's already been a week and a day since we've all been waiting for the introduction of new operating systems - namely iOS and iPadOS 14, macOS 11 Big Sur, watchOS 7 and tvOS 14. Of course, the first three mentioned are the most interesting, and the others however, they received various innovations. Some users may have already installed the developer beta versions of the new operating systems. However, there will certainly also be users who like to wait for the public and stable release of new systems. If you want to find out when and on which devices new operating systems will be released, then you are absolutely right here. So let's get straight to the point.

When is the public beta released?

If you don't dare to install a developer beta version, but on the other hand, you have no problem with participating in public beta versions, then you are definitely interested in when the public beta version of new operating systems is released. The answer in this case is quite simple, but on the other hand, slightly imprecise. While the first developer beta version is usually released immediately after the end of the WWDC conference, it is a little different in the case of public beta versions - the exact date is unfortunately unknown. However, Apple states on its website that we will see the first public beta versions of the presented operating systems soon. Some of you might think of being "inspired" by last year, but that's when the first public betas were released just three days after the launch. Those three days have already passed this year, which could mean that public betas are indeed just around the corner.

When is the public and stable version released?

As for the release of the stable version, which is intended for all classic users, nothing is clear in this case either. As for iOS 14, Apple releases this system after the introduction of new iPhones, most often a week after the September conference, i.e. around the middle of September (or slightly after it). Despite the fact that Apple has a habit of releasing new versions of its systems on Mondays or Tuesdays, last year it did so on Thursday, specifically on September 19. Unfortunately, we do not dare to claim the exact release date of this system, but the period from September 14th to September 25th is considered. In the case of iPadOS, the public version is released a few weeks after iOS, which falls roughly around the turn of September and October. The macOS operating system is then released about a month after the release of iOS and iPadOS 14, i.e. sometime in mid-October. As for watchOS 7 and tvOS 14, these systems were released together on the same day last year, a week after the September conference. To summarize, we can say that all systems will be released within one month, from mid-September to mid-October.
