The disease COVID-19 is still spreading not only in the Czech Republic. In the following text, we will tell you which websites and places to follow up-to-date information about the coronavirus directly from the "source".

The Ministry of Health launched a special website koronavirus.mzcr.cz. This is ideally the main news page that the media also draws from. On the page you can also see a basic informational video and a newly launched one information line 1212, which serves specifically for cases related to the coronavirus. Lines 155 and 112 are used for acute cases or in life-threatening situations. Further on the page you will find advice, contacts, press releases and also information regarding measures that may occur.

After clicking on the red banner at the top of the website, you will get to the main overview of the situation in the Czech Republic in the form of a web application (https://onemocneni-aktualne.mzcr.cz/covid-19). On this page, you can see regularly updated data on the number of tests performed, the number of people with proven COVID-19 infection, and the number of people cured. At the same time, various graphs are available from which additional information can be read.

Another website is www.szu.cz, i.e. the website of the state health institute. Here it is worth following the news that is on the main page. You may also notice a red banner on the far left that will link you to the page www.szu.cz/tema/prevention/2019ncov. Here you will again find useful information that changes as the situation around the new coronavirus develops.

The websites of the Ministry of the Interior also function in a very similar way (https://www.mvcr.cz/) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (https://www.mzv.cz/). On these pages, mainly people living abroad will find information, but there is also travel information and a whole range of recommendations.

Finally, we will present the page vlada.cz, which contains the latest information from the government, including press conference times and meeting times. For example, you can find complete information on declaring a state of emergency on the website. Updates are usually published once a day.
