If you often pass through Prague, you are certainly familiar with the daily traffic problems. I think there is hardly a day when there is no accident in Prague that causes traffic jams or traffic restrictions. From there, the Camera Application 2.0 is here, which can help you choose a suitable route around Prague without having to wait in long queues.
This application provides online photos from traffic cameras that are located on the busiest traffic sections in Prague. The server is used as the photo source cameras.praha.eu, which should be updated every 15 minutes.
On card Cameras you will find an alphabetical list of all streets where you can see the current traffic situation. In addition, a map is available on which your current location and all available cameras in your vicinity will be displayed. I find the ability to create your own folders to store your favorite cameras a very useful feature. You can use this function, for example, on your way to work, where you can save all the cameras recording your journey to your folder and quickly view the current traffic situation before you leave.
Cameras 2.0 is a very useful application. A few weeks ago there were problems with updating the cameras, but the image provider has already solved everything. In the next update, I can imagine the implementation of information about current closures in Prague.

Is there something similar for other regions or cities? I would specifically mean Zlín and its surroundings...
are there any jams?
Not even ... it definitely can't be compared to Prague, but there is also a lot of heavy traffic there ... especially now that there are constant repairs and road closures ... so I thought I'd have an overview of the last places as well, I'd really like it regardless if there are any blockages or not :)
Instead, I use the mParkovani app - in addition to cameras, it also offers information about traffic jams, P+R parking lots and parking zones... i.e. I have no reason to change :)
Hello,
I need to get from Chuchla via Prague to the exit to Mělník. I can't find a map of the main routes. Thank you. Jindra.
