Dan Pražák Although the new iPhone XR goes on sale only on Friday, already last week several foreign creators had the opportunity to test the phone first and mediate so common users first impressions. Starting today, Apple ended the information embargo. Following this, a few tens of minutes ago, the biggest YouTubers and the first foreign media started releasing the first unboxing videos, thanks to which we get a first look at the packaging, its contents and the phone itself.
However, the packaging of the iPhone XR basically does not bring any major surprises. As with the iPhone X, XS and XS Max, the box shows the front of the phone itself. Inside, in addition to the smartphone, manual and Apple stickers, there is a 5W adapter, a USB/Lightning cable and EarPods with a Lightning connector. Compared to last year, all three of this year's iPhones lack a reduction to a 3,5 mm jack, which the user must purchase separately if necessary.

The most interesting thing is the phone itself, especially its individual color variants, of which there are six in total – white, black, blue, yellow, coral red and PRODUCT(RED). Compared to the iPhone XS, the novelty differs from the design point of view mainly in one camera, matte aluminum edges and, of course, wider frames around the display. The interesting thing is that although the iPhone XR has an LCD panel, it still supports the Tap to wake function, which Apple has so far only offered on devices with an OLED display (iPhone X, XS, XS Max and Apple Watch).
