Jony Ive is an absolute icon and one of the most famous Apple characters ever. It was this man who served as the chief designer and was at the helm of the birth of legendary products with the first Apple phone. Now interesting information surfaced, according to which Jony Ive even participated in the design of the new 24″ iMac with the M1 chip. This was reported by the Wired portal, to which the information was confirmed directly by Apple. In any case, it is strange that Ive left the Cupertino company already in 2019, when he started his own company. His main client was supposed to be Apple.

Logically, only two possible solutions follow from this. Hardware preparation, its complete planning and design, is of course a longer process than you might even think. From this point of view, it is possible that Ive was helping with the design of the 24″ iMac before he left. The second possibility is some kind of help from his company (LoveFrom - editor's note), which was provided to Apple after 2019. So there are still question marks hanging over this. In this regard, Apple only confirmed that the legendary designer was involved in the design - but it is unclear whether it was before his departure. The Cupertino giant did not confirm this, but neither did he deny it.

But if Jony Ive really worked on the iMac in 2019, or even earlier, then we must not forget to mention one thing. This is related to the already mentioned hardware preparation process, which simply cannot be completed in a day. In any case, Apple already had to count on something like Apple Silicon, i.e. the M1 chip. Otherwise, they would have to solve, for example, cooling in a completely different way.
