Johny Ive is an extremely shy and quiet person who avoids the limelight and other media events. However, he is the person who is responsible for the design of all Apple products and has his fingers in the new user interface of iOS 7. His career has now been tried to be mapped by Leander Kahney, whose biographical book Jony Ive: The Genius Behind Apple's Greatest Products out on November 14th…

It will be the first complete biography of the famous designer, who has long been known even by those who have nothing to do with Apple, as evidenced by the Order of the British Empire and the subsequent promotion to the rank of knight. Jony Ive's biography was taken on by Leander Kahney, who has already written several books about Apple (The Cult of MacCult of iPod, Inside Steve's Brain) and is known as the editor-in-chief of the site CultOfMac.com. His new book right there introduced:

I'm super excited about it. Everything turned out great. I reached out to several inside sources who let me in on some of Apple's best-kept secrets about how the company really works.

The book charts the life of Jony Ive from his childhood in Great Britain to his meteoric rise to the highest level at Apple. It also includes the most detailed description yet of how the iMac, iPod, iPhone and iPad came to be. The book offers a unique look inside the closely guarded studio of industrial design and will change the way you look at the role design plays inside Apple. It's about the story of a quiet but charming boy from Essex who becomes one of the world's leading innovators. And he drives Bond's supercar! It's a great story that can teach you a lot, and the book will give it credit (at least I hope).

A book called Jony Ive: The Genius Behind Apple's Greatest Products (in translation Jony Ive: The genius behind Apple's best products) will be released on November 14th and will be available on Amazon and iTunes (and other US and UK booksellers). At least now, the book is not available in the Czech iTunes store, it can already be pre-ordered in the American edition of the store for $11,99. Amazon offers a pro version of the book Kindle (on pre-order for $15) and also hardcover for $17,25.

The American Amazon also ships to the Czech Republic, however, given that goods from overseas are subject to customs duty, it is more advantageous to visit the German Amazon, which offers paperback for 9,70 euros (releases November 14) a hardcover for 15 euros (releases on November 28), possibly already on November 14 for 20 euros. Postage with delivery within 1-3 weeks costs a few euros, for faster delivery you will have to pay extra.

There is no information about a possible Czech translation.
