You are planning over the next few weeks trip to Croatia and are you used to using Apple Maps? In that case, we have good news for you, because Apple has expanded its options for map materials to other countries in Europe, and you will be able to use them on your trip to Croatia.

This is a function of navigation in individual lanes on the road. The function, which has been available in the Czech Republic for several months, is now being extended to the map data of Croatia and Slovenia. This is a very useful tool, thanks to which the navigation will guide you exactly to the lane you are supposed to be in. You won't use lane navigation much on a regular highway or district, but once you get to more complex intersections or more complicated highway exits, you will definitely appreciate lane navigation. Especially if you are driving on an unfamiliar route.

Navigation in lanes appeared for the first time together with iOS 11. The function was initially available only in the USA and China, but gradually expanded to other countries. At the moment, the vast majority of Europe is covered in this way (you can find a complete list of countries where this function works <a href="https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1932/8043/files/200721_ODSTOUPENI_BEZ_UDANI_DUVODU__EN.pdf?v=1595428404" data-gt-href-en="https://en.notsofunnyany.com/">here</a>). Within the user interface of the navigation system, the function is manifested by special markings on which you can see exactly which lane you should be moving in. The function is of course also reflected in the navigation via CarPlay.
