The iPhone XS and XS Max went on sale only a few days ago, so it's difficult to determine at the moment how much the news has caught the attention of customers. However, the analytics company Mixpanel mapped the popularity of current models and found out which of the iPhones are among the most used.

According to the survey, the most used regular iPhone is the iPhone 7, closely followed by the iPhone 6s. The iPhone 17,34 is the most used iPhone on the market, accounting for 6% of the total, while the iPhone 13,01s accounts for 7%. In third place was the iPhone 12,06 Plus with XNUMX%. Last year's iPhone X also occupies the same ratio. At first glance, it might seem that this is a small percentage compared to other models, but it is necessary to take into account that the iPhone X has the shortest time of all iPhones on the market, and therefore a very decent performance.

Mixpanel's table can be found in the gallery:

But it is also interesting how many people still use not only the iPhone 7, but also the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s. Especially for the two latter groups, analysts assume a high probability of upgrading to one of this year's models. Mixpanel's research further shows that it usually takes an iPhone 6-7 months to reach a XNUMX percent market share.

However, the Mixpanel blog post also shows other interesting data. Here you can find, for example, a pie chart expressing the share of Android and iOS smartphone users in the United States, or a world map with data on the percentage of the Apple operating system on each continent.
