Spring is approaching, which by the way begins on March 20. It can therefore be assumed that Apple will present us with new products, either at the Keynote or at least only through press releases. Traditionally, we should also expect a new color of the iPhone 15. Which will it be this time?

Although it is not a long history, it specifically goes back to the iPhone 12, but probably the revival of the iPhone portfolio with a new color is bearing fruit for Apple. According to the situation from previous years, this year will be a little different. This is due to the fact that, starting with the iPhone 11, Apple offers (PRODUCT)RED in the base line, which is missing from the iPhone 15. Previously, Apple introduced it at a distance, for example with the iPhone 8. Based on this, it can be assumed that this additional color will be used this year as well.

Below you can see an overview of colors from iPhone 11, where the last one (bold) is the one that the company added to the color palette in the spring of the following year after the introduction of the given models.

  • iPhone 15: pink, yellow, green, blue, black
  • iPhone 14: Blue, Purple, Dark Ink, Star White, (PRODUCT)RED, yellow
  • iPhone 13: pink, blue, dark ink, star white, (PRODUCT)RED, Green
  • iPhone 12: blue, green, white, black, (PRODUCT)RED, purple
  • iPhone 11: purple, yellow, green, black, white, (PRODUCT)RED

And what about the iPhone 15 Pro? Since hope dies last, there is a chance here too, but really small. Here, Apple made only one exception, namely in the case of the iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max, to which it added the same green color as the iPhone 13, which was specifically called Alpine Green. However, we didn't get to see it last year, so the iPhone 14 Pro only had four colors - deep purple, gold, silver and space black.

But it is true that the situation is a bit different this year and we have a new body frame. Steel has been replaced by titanium, and even before the introduction of the iPhone 15 and 15 Pro series, we had leaks showing a Pro version in dark red. Apple regularly changes its shades for products under (PRODUCT)RED, so it's not red like red. It is quite possible that along with the (PRODUCT)RED iPhone 15, we could also expect the (PRODUCT)RED iPhone 15 Pro. The problem is that the (PRODUCT)RED portfolio usually includes only the basic models, and not the more advanced ones. But it would certainly be interesting to see the red titanium presented by Apple.
