This summer, Google showed off a pair of new phones – the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro – that push the existing capabilities a few steps forward. At first glance, it is clear that with this initiative Google is going to compete with other flagships, including the current iPhone 13 (Pro). At the same time, Pixel phones hide one extremely interesting feature.
Easy to erase imperfections
The new feature from the Pixel 6 is related to photos. Specifically, it is a tool called Magic Eraser, with the help of which any flaws from the user's images can be quickly and easily retouched, without having to rely on any additional applications from the Play Store or outside. In short, everything can be solved directly in the native program. Although it is nothing groundbreaking, it is undoubtedly a step in the right direction that can please the vast majority of users.
Magic Eraser in action:
Admit it yourself, how many times have you taken a photo in which there was something lacking. In short, this happens and will continue to happen. On the contrary, it is rather annoying that if we want to solve a similar problem, we first have to find some third-party application, install it, and only then can the shortcomings be removed. This is exactly what Apple could copy for its upcoming iPhone 14, which will not be presented to the world until September 2022, i.e. in almost a year. After all, the night mode for cameras, which also first appeared in Pixel phones, also arrived in Apple phones.
New for iOS 16 or iPhone 14?
In the end, there is still the question of whether this will be a novelty only for iPhone 14 phones, or whether Apple will not integrate it directly into its iOS 16 operating system. we will actually see a similar function. Anyway, it is possible that such a tool could be reserved only and only for the latest phones. The same was the case with the QuickTake video function, when holding your finger on the shutter button started filming. Although this is an absolute trifle, it is still only reserved for iPhone XS/XR and later.
So it's clear that apple is copying it... As if apple never invented anything new and fresh and just copies from the last brands... And when apple invents something itself, it's gone in the next version of the iPhone...
Somehow I don't know what is before and after.
