Working for Apple is the dream of almost every apple lover. There's nothing to be surprised about - participating in the latest technologies, or dedicating yourself to any other field, certainly sounds tempting. Although everything may seem rosy at first glance, it is necessary to look at it from the other side, i.e. from the perspective of the employees themselves. Logically, it can be assumed that iPhones and Macs will be available. So do they have access to the latest news, can they choose, or how does Apple respond to individual requests?

If we were to delve into discussion forums or directly contact (ex)employees, the overwhelming majority of us will come across a clearly reserved opinion that the majority likes. In the field of office equipment, these people greatly praise the friendliness of Apple, which, according to them, is open to all kinds of possibilities. So, if employees work in an office, they can choose whether they will be more comfortable working with a MacBook Pro, or if they would prefer a desktop in the form of an iMac and the like. The choice is simply theirs. The same is the case with the choice of monitor - Apple simply makes sure that the employees work as best as possible. In the end, this approach makes sense and is of course beneficial for the Cupertino giant. Motivated and satisfied workers are logically more productive and can work better on given tasks.

Are employees working on news?

Of course, the question still arises as to whether the employees who work in offices use the latest innovations for work. This situation is again clarified by the workers themselves, for example on Reddit. If you expected that as soon as you start working for an apple company, you will get a 16″ MacBook Pro with an M1 Max chip to work with, for example, then you will probably be disappointed. Unfortunately, it doesn't work that way and you have to make do with older pieces. On the other hand, they are always fully sufficient for the job in question, and practically there is no need to spend a lot of money on equipment for employees who don't even need it. It is, of course, a different matter in departments where high performance is directly required, or where projects such as Apple Silicon and the like are being worked on. In this case, workers even have several devices at the same time.
