What products has Apple introduced during December in the past

Recently, there has been a lot of discussion among apple growers about whether we will see any new product this year. But there is one bigger problem. There is less than a month left until the end of the year, so it is not clear how things would look with the possible introduction of new products. Anyway, we will not talk about any speculation in this article. On the contrary, we will take a light look at history and talk about the products that Apple started selling during December. But let's take a look at the individual products.

Since 2012, six products have been launched in December, which at first glance can give us some hope. Specifically, it was the 27″ iMac (Late 2012), Mac Pro (Late 2013), the first AirPods (2016), iMac Pro (2017), Mac Pro (2019), Pro Display XDR (2019) and lastly we have headphones AirPods Max (2020), which was released only last year. The complete list of products in a concise form can be found below. But the problem is that the vast majority of these products only entered the market in December, while their introduction took place long before that. After all, this is also an example of the aforementioned AirPods or Mac Pro (2019) together with Pro Display XDR. While the headphones were unveiled alongside the new iPhone 7 (Plus) in September 2016, the official presentation of the professional computer and display took place in June 2019 on the occasion of the WWDC developer conference.

But the situation is a little different in the case of last year's AirPods Max. Apple actually introduced these headphones in December through a press release, which by the way will celebrate a year tomorrow (December 8, 2021). But the difference is that the arrival of the headphones with the bitten apple logo was rumored long before they were revealed, while even before December, more and more leaks were piling up that talked about the arrival of a similar product.

What will December 2021 be like?

In the end, there is still the question of how it will be in the case of this December 2021, or whether Apple will still manage to surprise us with something, or, on the contrary, will keep its aces for next year. For now, it looks like we won't get any more news. Of course, leakers and analysts may not always be right, and there is always at least a small chance. But this year (unfortunately) it doesn't look like that.
