Let's face it, the subscription price is quite high for many apps - and what if you need more apps. You can simply pay thousands of crowns a month for several applications, which is definitely not pleasant. In a way, the Setapp service decided to take a spin with the huge subscription prices.

Within this application, there are hundreds of different well-known applications that you can easily download. The best thing about Setapp is that all these apps are available for a single subscription price of $9.99 for an individual. Until recently, you could only download macOS apps from Setapp. Recently, however, there has been an improvement, and the Setapp service now also offers apps for iOS and iPadOS, for an additional fee of only $4.99. As for the available applications for iPhone and iPad, it is, for example, Gemini, Ulysses, PDF Seacrh, MindNote and many others.
You will find a lot of applications within Setapp, and believe me, these are not some non-functional or unknown applications that were added here just to chase numbers. All applications for macOS that can be found in Setapp have been tested directly by Setapp employees for a long time. They look for various security flaws and other negative features that could affect the user experience. If we look at applications for iOS or iPadOS, then in this case Setapp always directs the user to the App Store for download. Apple takes care of the applications in it, so again it is practically impossible for users to download a bad application. Which application will be added to Setapp is carefully decided by the team itself, together with the community. Installation of applications takes place within macOS in the same way as in the App Store, to install applications on iOS or iPadOS you will be provided with two QR codes. The first is used to install the application itself, the second to activate premium and extended functions.
You're probably thinking right now that it all sounds too good not to have a catch. However, the opposite is true and everything is really that simple and, above all, cheap. Setapp has been here with us for over three years, and during that time it has gained countless satisfied users who regularly use applications from this service on their Macs, and now also iPhones and iPads.
