However, users from the second mentioned group will also experience this at least once in their lifetime, sooner or later, and some of their personal data will come. Thanks to this, they usually move to the first group that regularly backs up their data. Photos and videos are often among the most valuable data. There are several options with which you can back up this data.

In the first case, you can use a home NAS station to which you can easily upload all your photos. The good thing about a NAS station is that you have it at home in potential safety, and that there is no monthly fee. The second option is to use a remote cloud from one of the world's companies (for example, iCloud, Dropbox and others). But of course you have to pay the companies monthly for these services. But what if I tell you that there is an option with which you can back up all your photos and videos indefinitely without having to pay a single penny? How to backup all your photos to the cloud absolutely free

If you want to set up a backup of all your photos absolutely free through the Google Photos application, proceed as follows:

  • First, of course, you need to download the application Google photos have installed – just tap on this link.
  • After installing the application run a enable her access ke all photos and possibly also for announcements.
  • Once you allow access, use your login email and password log in.
  • After successfully logging in, tap at the bottom of the screen Backup as [your_name].
  • You will now appear on a screen where you can set up backup quality:
    • In high quality: photos will be lightly compressed, but you will get unlimited free storage space;
    • Original: photos are backed up in their original quality without compression, however, the used space will be counted and you may have to purchase additional storage.
  • For our purposes, i.e. backup free select an option In high quality.
  • Then choose if they have photos and videos back up even if you are on mobile data.
  • After setting the above preferences, tap on the option Confirm at the bottom of the screen.
  • The backup will then start immediately.

Of course, the backup time depends on number of backed up items and from internet connection speed. If you want to take approach backup, so you just need to first tap on the item at the bottom right Library, and then at the top right on your profile icon. A box will then appear here Backup, in which you can look at the overall approach backup, along with the count remaining items intended for backup. Of course, the Google Photos app will back up all other photos automatically – simply put, it will be constantly synchronized with your gallery.
