The internal microphones of the phones still cannot match the external accessories that can be easily connected to them, and almost 100% this will be the case for some time to come. However, what additional solution can be used to record sound in the highest quality and at the same time in the most convenient way, if necessary? RODE has expanded its already wide portfolio of additional microphones specifically with the Wireless GO II dual wireless microphone system consisting of two transmitters with an integrated microphone and an input for connecting an external lavalier microphone and one receiver that can be connected to an iPhone. But you will also be pleased with the very solid endurance of 7 hours on a single charge, which will ensure trouble-free functionality for almost the entire working day. If you are interested in the controllability of the entire set, the buttons on the transmitter and receiver are intended for this purpose. In the additional application, it is then possible to (de)activate some functions such as SafetyChannel, quality of recordings, their optimization and so on.
As for controllability directly on phones, you don't have to deal with it at all - the transmitters take care of everything automatically in any application that allows you to record sound. The USB-C digital audio output, which the Wireless GO II has, will be used to connect them. A 1,5 m audio digital cable is used for connection RODE SC19 with USB-C – Lightning terminals, or a 30 cm cable RODE SC15 with the same functionality. The manufacturer proves the problem-free compatibility with the official MFi certification granted directly by Apple.
