After some time, a post appeared on reddit again, in which the appearance and durability of the iPhone 7 in the Jet Black variant is addressed. It is essentially already a tradition. Similar posts have been appearing here since the release and users always rave about how their phone looks and how that glossy finish washes up with daily use (ideally without a case). The last request from Sunday was clear. Users were supposed to show off how their year-old Jet Black iPhone 7 looks. The only condition was that it had to be a phone that had not been kept in a case during its entire use. Some images look quite drastic.

It should be noted that Apple itself warns on its website that the Jet Black variant is more susceptible to physical damage, or abrasions, scratches and other defects in appearance. If you've held the Jet Black iPhone 7 in your hand, you know that there's not much to be surprised about. The phone looks absolutely great, but only until the first fingerprints, grease and scratches appear on it. On the glossy surface, these traces are visible much more than on the other (matte) color variants.

Some users take good care of their iPhone and that's why it shows. Others, on the other hand, do not mate with him and give him whatever he wants. Some pictures show a really impoverished iPhone. In the comments on reddit, one user wrote that one of the photos of the iPhone reminded him of the back of the original iPod Classic. After opening the drawer and looking at my own Classic, which has been used without any restrictions for almost six years, I have to agree. The scratched aluminum back looks very similar to the scratched back of the Jet Black iPhone in the sun.

Although this is a very effective color option, which is certainly popular among users, it can be expected that it will no longer appear in new phones. At least the information so far doesn't indicate it, but maybe Apple will surprise and Jet Black will reappear. What is your opinion on this option?
