Everyone takes tablets (not only) from Apple a little differently these days. For someone it is a full-fledged work tool, someone else may have a tablet as an addition to their computer, and for understandable reasons there is also a large part of users who leave it lying on the table or use it only sporadically. It is impossible to say 100% what an iPad device actually is, but due to the wide portfolio, it is sometimes quite difficult to choose the right one. This article might help you choose an iPad.

Working tool or relaxing with movies?

Many users take the iPad as a great device for consuming movies, series, etc., mainly thanks to the great displays that Apple can simply and simply do, and also thanks to the great speakers. However, I personally think that you don't need to buy the most expensive iPad Pro just for consumption. You don't need extreme performance to watch movies or YouTube videos, and despite the fact that the iPad Pro has four speakers compared to the others' two and a slightly better display, I personally don't think that other Apple tablets will offend you with the quality of the components.

What do you need to use the iPad for?

Even when you use your tablet for some types of work, you probably don't need to reach for the most expensive iPad right away. Even the basic one is sufficient for office work, the performance of the new iPad Air should be sufficient for anything more demanding, but of course the larger display that the iPad Pro offers in the larger version is useful when editing photos or videos. A key factor may also be the frequency of the display, which is 120 Hz, which ensures a significantly better response. A very specific device is the iPad mini, which you probably won't choose as a work tool, as a small notebook for students or a product in companies that will process certain data, but it will find use.

Connectors

Of the iPads currently sold, the basic and iPad mini have Lightning, the new iPad Air and iPad Pro USB-C. When working, it is sometimes useful to connect external drives, which thanks special reduction you can even iPads with a Lightning connector. However, this reduction needs a power supply, and lightning transfer speeds are not fast, for God's sake. So if you plan to work with a large amount of data in this way, I recommend reaching for an iPad with a USB-C connector.

Cameras

Personally, I don't think tablets are generally meant to shoot videos or take photos, but some will use the camera. Any iPad is really enough for video conferencing, but if you often take photos and for some reason it's easier for you to use a tablet, I would definitely choose the new iPad Pro, which offers a LiDAR scanner in addition to advanced cameras. Although it is not so useful nowadays, I think that the developers will work on its use and, for example, augmented reality will be perfect with it. That's why investing in an iPad Pro will pay off in the future for many.
