Christmas windows have a magical atmosphere, whether you're walking past a pastry shop, a perfumery or an electronics store. However, with 2015, Apple has resigned itself to any special themed decoration. For him, Christmas is the most reminiscent of the winter wallpaper of the displayed products and possibly the company's red logo, which refers to its efforts in the fight against AIDS. But look at how the company's shop windows looked, even when they contained formal decorations.

2014 – The light boxes with the company's products on display were the last to clearly refer to the Christmas season. They most often promoted the iPhone 6 and the iPad Air 2. Each chrome box on the outside then contained an LED grid inside to display fascinating patterns and animations. The sample devices then played loops of popular games and apps.

2013 – The inspiration of 2014 was clearly based on the previous one, when Apple baited the iPhone 5C and iPad Air, which were also accompanied by colored LEDs. These light grids were designed to create animated patterns including falling snowflakes. Glass cubes with eye-catching graphics were also present in front of Apple Kurfürstendamm in Berlin.

2012 – Apple's 2012 Christmas wreath included iPad Smart Covers and alternating colors of the iPod touch. The pun "Touching gifts" was then present inside it. The wreath was made from printed and layered sheets of PVC foam board and the design was reminiscent of an advertisement for the iPad mini Smart Cover that was released just before the Christmas season.

2011 – In 2011, displays included larger-than-life iPhone 4s and iPad 2 models with a focus on the FaceTime app. There were also plenty of app and game icons from the App Store.

2010 – FaceTime was the main item the previous year as well, when Santa called through it from the iPhone 4. And since it was the year of the debut of the iPad, Apple presented it inside a glass paperweight.

2009 – One of the most challenging display projects Apple has ever undertaken was placing real Christmas trees in their display cases, which were planted in real ground. Next to them were MacBooks, as well as the slogan "Give Mac". In another window, the iPhone 3GS was presented with the fact that you can find up to 85 applications in one device.

2008 - Long before AirPods, Apple's white headphone cables signaled that you owned an iPod. As in its TV commercials, Apple has made them a dominant feature used not only by Santa but also by his helpers. It was mainly aimed at iPod touch and iPod nano.

2007 – In 2008, Apple had actually used light-up headphones a year before. Just in combination with wooden nutcrackers. They then boasted about using different iPod models, i.e. touch, nano and classic. Of course, there was also the iPhone, which was introduced that year and caused a revolution. Its display was an LED panel that projected video loops from a connected Mac.

2006 – The iPod seemed like an ideal Christmas gift, which is why it was also targeted in 2006, when wooden snowmen used it instead of nutcrackers. However, there was also a presentation of iMacs.

2005 – As with FaceTime in later years, Apple promoted mutual communication with friends and family as early as 2005, through gingerbread. Except for iPods, they also used an iMac G5 equipped with the iChat application.
