Although it may not seem like it at first glance, you can upload a lot of data to the small body of the Apple Watch, i.e. to its storage. If you own an Apple Watch Series 2 and older, 8GB of storage is available; The Apple Watch Series 4 and Series 3 then offer 16GB of storage; and currently the latest Apple Watch Series 5 offers up to 32 GB of storage. You can store countless different types of data in the storage on your Apple Watch, from music to podcasts to photos. All of a sudden, you can easily find yourself in a situation where your Apple Watch simply runs out of storage space. Let's look at one tip together in this article, thanks to which you can free up storage space on your Apple Watch.

How to free up storage space on Apple Watch by clearing site data

Yesterday we brought it to you in our magazine instruction, in which you were able to learn how to view web pages on the Apple Watch. When browsing websites, various website data is also created in the Apple Watch memory. In the apple watch settings you will find a simple option to delete website data. To find out how, follow these steps:

  • First, you need to your Apple Watch woke up
  • Once you've done that, press digital crown, which will take you to the applications menu.
  • In the application menu, find and click the box Settings.
  • After that, you need to move to the section In general.
  • Here, then go down a bit until you come across an option Site data, which you click.
  • Here, just finally tap on Delete site data and press to confirm the action Delete data.

Unfortunately, Apple Watch will not tell you how much data has been freed from memory after deletion. Before deleting, however, you can Settings -> General -> Information show how much space you have available. Then clear the site data (see the procedure above), open the storage information again and compare how much free storage space you have now.
