Turn on automatic message deletion

Every message you send or receive in the native Messages app is saved to your iPhone's storage, including attachments. You can change the video recording quality in Settings → Photos, where you can click either video recording, as the case may be Slow motion recording. Then it's enough select the desired quality. At the bottom of the screen you will find approximate information about how much storage space is taken up by one minute of recording at a specific quality. Use a highly efficient photo format

Like videos, classic photos can also take up a lot of storage space. However, Apple has been offering its own efficient photo format for a long time, which can take up less storage space with the same quality. Specifically, this efficient format uses the HEIC format instead of the classic JPEG format. Nowadays, however, you don't have to worry about it at all, as it is natively supported by all operating systems and applications, so you won't have any problems with it. To activate this format, just go to Settings → Camera → Formats, where tick possibility High efficiency.

Activate automatic deletion of podcasts

You can use several different services to listen to podcasts. Apple also offers one of these and it is simply called Podcasts. You can listen to all podcasts either via streaming or you can download them to your Apple phone storage for offline listening. If you like to download podcasts, then in order to save storage space, you should activate the function that ensures their automatic deletion after complete playback. To turn it on, just go to Settings → Podcasts, where you go down a piece belowactivate possibility Delete played.
