Pavel Jelic Do you want to have a completely clean desktop on your Mac, or do you prefer quick access to all internal and external drives, servers and optical drives? Whether you belong to the first or second group, you can always choose which system icons appear on the desktop in macOS.
It is important to note that by default, only representatives of external disks and drives are displayed. However, all hard drives and servers to which the computer is connected can also be permanently displayed on the desktop.
