The new iPhones have been in the hands of their owners for about a week, and interesting information about what the new products can do has started to appear on the web. Apple really made an effort this year, and the photography capabilities of the new models are truly top-notch. This, together with the function for taking photos in low-light conditions, makes it possible to shoot compositions on the new iPhones that iPhone owners never dreamed of before.

We can find the proof, for example, in the video below. The author jumps from Sony's product presentation, and with the help of a new iPhone and a tripod (and supposedly relatively light adjustments in some PP editor), he was able to take a very effective photo of the night sky. Of course, it is not a super sharp and detailed picture without noise, which you would achieve using the appropriate photo-technique, but it demonstrates the new capabilities of iPhones more than well. Especially the fact that you can take pictures with the iPhone even in complete darkness.

As you can see in the video (and it also follows from the logic of the matter), to take such a photo you need a tripod, because exposing such a scene takes up to 30 seconds and no one can hold it in their hand. The resulting image looks quite usable, a short process in the post-processing editor will smooth out most of the flaws, and the finished photo is ready. It will certainly not be for printing, but the quality of the resulting image is sufficient for sharing on social networks. In the end, all additional post-processing can be done in a more sophisticated photo editor directly on the iPhone. From acquisition to publication, the entire process can take only a few minutes.
