Time is money - and today more than ever. For this reason, it is extremely important that you never lose track of time and that you always know at least approximately what time it is. Of course, the Apple Watch is excellent for this, as it is a watch that has always been primarily intended to tell time. Simply raise the Apple Watch higher on your wrist and look at the current time. However, among other things, you can of course also use the apple watch to measure activity and monitor health. But there are several other ways you can get information about the time on your Apple watch.

How to be notified of every new hour on Apple Watch

The Apple Watch is really extremely smart and can do things that we wouldn't have dreamed of a few years ago. Among other things, apple watchers praise this watch for that reason, because through it they can easily and quickly display notifications and, if necessary, also reply with them. These notifications are accompanied by a sound or a haptic response, so you always know that you have received a notification and that you should check your watch. However, did you know that with a sound or a haptic response, you can also have each new hour alerted? To activate this feature, proceed as follows:

  • First, you need to on your Apple Watch they pressed the digital crown.
  • You will then find yourself in the list of applications, where you can find and open Settings.
  • Then go down a bit here below and locate and click the section Clock.
  • Once you do, get off again below and switch activate function Chime.

Using the above method, it is possible to activate the Discharge function on your Apple Watch, thanks to which you will always be informed about the new hour. If you click on the Sounds box in the section above, you can choose a sound that will alert you to a new class. Of course, the sound will only play on a new watch if you don't have the sounds turned off and you don't have the Focus mode active. Otherwise, you will only be informed about the new hour by haptic feedback, i.e. vibrations. You can also activate the function on iPhone in the app Watch, where just go to My watch → Clock.
