Like it or not, Apple has changed over the years. More and more he is hungry for money, and less and less customer-friendly. Maybe this is my own view, but maybe you share it with me. Many things testify to this, including the way he treats us at Christmas. Do you want some gifts from him like in the past? Don't wait…

Apple is not in the nature of giving away anything for free, although there are a few exceptions, especially when it comes to opening new stores and small gifts. The whole world knows the company, as well as its products and services, so there is no need to draw attention to itself in any way. It may be sad, but it's true.

However, we have had many examples here in the past of Apple trying to present content available for free in particular, because what is digital can easily be spread around the world regardless of markets and limited stock. I'm referring, of course, to content on Apple TV+. It regularly provides, for example, Peanuts specials, but unfortunately only for home users. Last year, for example, he also provided the documentary 11/XNUMX: The President's War Cabinet, although it was definitely not about Christmas.

Apple TV +

It is directly offering to provide Christmas content to its video streaming platform. In the case of older acts, it can be a Christmas dispute, but also Mariah Carey's Magical Christmas specials as well as its sequel last year. But we probably won't see it, not even in the performance of the currently released film Spirited, which benefits from the classic performance of A Christmas Carol. But Apple probably doesn't have to significantly upgrade Apple TV+ anymore. With this year's Oscars, it was etched in the memory of all movie fans, so why waste it on giving content for free, especially when with the little that the platform has to offer, the company has allowed itself to make it more expensive.

Apple Music

With Apple TV+, giving away content is easy because the content belongs to Apple because it's Apple's production. Apple Music has a huge amount of Christmas music, but the company no longer owns the rights to it, so it could only provide it for free after an agreement with the performers, and that is already more complicated. However, it is true that in the past we did get Christmas music or at least video clips from Apple, although not in the case of its streaming service, but in the form of apps.

App Store

In theory, there would also be discount codes for apps and games in the App Store, but we last saw those in 2019. Specifically, it was about content in the titles that the company gave away from December 24 to 29. E.g. in the case of Looney Tunes World of Mayhem, we were able to get a 60% discount on the In-App purchase of the Christmas Pack. But we also received a discount on the subscription to the graphic application Canva, a 50% discount on the subscription to the music title Smule, and Clash Royale boosted the contents of the packages in cooperation with Apple. The last time Apple gave away apps and games for absolutely free was in 2013 as part of the iTunes Gift event. For 9 days, we could look forward not only to applications (Score!, Sonic Jump, Toy Story Toons, Poster, Geomaster), but also entire films (Home Alone) and music albums (Maroon 5, Ed Sheeran).
