The iPhone X has very good battery life. Thanks to the new design of the internal components, it was possible to get a battery with a decent (by iPhone standards) capacity inside. The novelty thus almost approaches what owners of the iPhone 8 Plus achieve. This is also significantly helped by the presence of an OLED display, which is significantly more economical compared to classic LCD panels due to how it works. However, if the battery life is still not enough for you, it can be increased even more in a relatively simple way. In the most extreme case, up to about 60% (the effectiveness of this solution varies depending on how you use the phone). It's quite easy and only takes a few seconds.

It is mainly about adjusting the display, thanks to which it is possible to use the economical OLED panel to the full. There are three things you need to set up to maximize stamina. The first one is a completely black wallpaper on the display. You can find it in the official wallpaper library, at the very last place. Set it to both screens. Another change is the activation of Color Inversion. Here you can find in Settings - In general - Disclosure a Customizing the display. The third setting is to change the color display of the display in shades of black. You do this in the same place as the inversion mentioned above, you just click on the tab Color filters, you switch on and choose Grayscale. In this mode, the phone's display is unrecognizable from its original state. However, thanks to the dominance of black, it is significantly more economical in this mode, since black pixels are turned off in OLED panels. For best results, it is recommended to turn off True Tone and Night Shift.

In practice, these changes mean a savings of up to 60%. The editors of the Appleinsider server are behind the test, and the video describing it, together with a guide for all the necessary settings, can be viewed above. This power saving mode probably isn't for everyday use, but if you ever find yourself in a situation where you need to save every percent of your battery, this might be the way to go (along with limiting app activity).
