Apple Music Classical has been talked about for quite some time, and the arrival of this platform was expected, despite the fact that it contains mostly classical music, which certainly will not appeal to everyone. Now it's finally here, but only for iPhones. However, if you prefer, you can also listen to the content on Macs and iPads.

Apple Music Classical is an application that is exclusively available in the App Store for iOS, i.e. iPhones. Apple has not officially released it for its computers, tablets, Windows or Android platforms. According to the company, it offers the world's largest catalog of classical music, which elevates your listening experience like never before - thanks to the quality, which is available up to 192 kHz at 24-bit with thousands of recordings in Dolby Atmos. However, if you launch the application, you will understand why it took so long to launch.

At first glance, it is very similar to Apple Music, but here it is mainly about searching and the complexity of works. Although the app is only localized to English, the search supports alternate titles in multiple languages. For example, Beethoven's Piano Sonata No. 14 can also be found under its informal title Moonlight Sonata, as well as in other languages such as the Mondschein Sonata. It is also interesting to search according to the tool used, etc.

How to have Apple Music Classical on Mac and iPad

Even though the platform, which you can only access if you subscribe to Apple Music, is only available for iPhones, that doesn't mean you can't get it on other Apple systems. The content library is identical, so what is available in Apple Music Classical is also available in Apple Music. All songs, albums and playlists stored in Apple Music will also be available in Apple Music Classical – and vice versa. The application itself is actually just a special interface.

This means you can virtually find anything you want to listen to on your Mac or iPad in Apple Music Classical and save it to Apple Music. Thanks to the shared library, this is not the slightest problem. It's over the top, but it's better than not being able to do it at all.
