Nowadays, you can use several streaming services to watch series, movies and other shows - for example Netflix, HBO GO and others. Despite the fact that within these services there are countless different films, including Czech ones, you would find absolutely all of them here in vain. We probably all have our favorite movie that we can watch several times in a row and never get tired of it. If you want to upload a movie that is not available on streaming services to your device, or if you are going on vacation and want to take movies with you on the trip, then I have a simple procedure for you, which you can use to easily upload movies to your iPhone. Let's see how to do it together.
How to upload movies to iPhone
If you want to upload a movie from your computer or Mac to your iPhone, it's not complicated. It is only necessary that you first download the application from the App Store in iOS or iPadOS VLC Media Player. It is with this application that the entire procedure is really very simple and there is no need to set practically anything. You can download VLC Media Player for free using this link. Once you have this app installed, the app start up to be loaded. Then just proceed as follows:
- First, your iPhone or iPad connect using a USB - Lightning cable to your macOS device or computer.
- In case you have an operating system macOS, so run Finder av left panel click on your device;
- if you use Windows, so run iTunes av upper part click on icon on your iPhone or iPad.
- After you find yourself in the section for managing your apple device, click on the tab at the top Files.
- Here you will see applications that you can interact with via macOS or your computer. Unclick box here VLC.
- Now all you have to do is go to your Mac or computer found the movie that you want to move to your device.
- After finding a movie (or any video) use the cursor to grab and then transfer do Finder/iTunes per line VLC.
- Once you've dragged your videos and movies, click the button at the bottom right Synchronize.
- Then just wait for the sync to complete. When finished, you can iPhone or iPad from your computer or Mac disconnect.
In this way, you have successfully transferred videos or movies to your device, i.e. to the VLC application. Of course, the synchronization time varies depending on how many and how large files you are trying to import into the application - the larger the movie or video, the longer the transfer time. Several modes are supported, MP4, MOV or M4V is ideal. Of course, in this case it is necessary that you have enough storage space, otherwise the move will not happen. After successful synchronization, all you have to do is use it on your iPhone or iPad open the VLC app, where in the lower menu, move to the section Video. Pro playback a film or video is enough for him here tap. A classic player will appear, with which playback can be easily controlled. This procedure is really very simple and anyone can do it. It is then suitable for users who do not want to subscribe to streaming services, as they will not use them 100%. The good news is that you can AirPlay video from VLC to your TV as well.
I would say that this is a procedure from the last century. I don't see why it's difficult to do it via a cable, when VLC allows you to easily transfer via WiFi and the formats are basically not limited, VLC can handle almost everything.
That's right, I haven't pulled movies or music over cable in years. Everything goes through the air. You don't need VLC for this, any player or even a file manager can do it. But I have my favorite nPlayer and I can easily download movies from the Internet with it.
Synchronization via cable is still faster than via Wi-Fi. Nowadays, many users don't put movies on their iPhone anyway, they use streaming applications. This guide is intended primarily for older users who want to have a movie with them at all times. Still, the process is very simple and understandable.
of course it's more convenient via Wi-Fi, but why drain your battery. Personally, I would recommend something like this: https://www.mall.cz/usb-flash-disky/adata-i-memory-ai720-64gb-seda-aai720-64g-cgy
Thanks for the tutorial. I'm gradually switching to an iPhone and it's a bit of a struggle with iTunes. Could I ask for a similar tutorial for music? I can't copy entire albums to my phone. Quite often, the songs on the phone "scatter" and are not saved in one album, as in android. Thanks.
Thanks for the tutorial, it helped me get songs onto my iPhone easily. :)
There is also an easier way:
1. Selling iphones
2. Buy an android
3. Download what you want
It's like moving back in with your parents. It will be convenient, yes...but you won't move anywhere, you'll still be in child mode :-) Just like with Android...So enjoy it with your parents as long as you can...
