Create a shared iCloud photo library on Mac

If you haven't yet created a shared library of selected photos on your Mac and don't know how, don't worry - the process is really very easy. First of all, launch native Photos, then click on the bar at the top of your Mac's screen Photos -> Settings. Connecting to a shared library

Received an invitation to join your shared iCloud photo library, but don't know how to do it? Click on the invitation notification, or on a Mac, launch native Photos and click on the bar at the top of the screen Photos -> Settings. At the top of the settings window, select a tab Shared library, where you can view and accept the invitation.

Creating a custom shared library

To create your own shared photo library on iCloud, follow these steps on your Mac. Launch the native Photos app and click on the bar at the top of your Mac's screen Photos -> Settings. At the top of the settings window, choose the iCloud tab and make sure you've activated Photos on iCloud. If not, go back to the first tip from our article. Then in the settings window, click on the item Shared Library -> Start, and follow the on-screen instructions.

Shared library management

Of course, if you've created your own shared iCloud photo library in native Photos on Mac, you can also manage it. If you want to remove a participant from the shared library, launch Photos and click on the bar at the top of the screen Photos -> Settings. In the upper part of the settings window, select the Shared library tab, to the right of the selected user's name, click on the icon of three dots in a circle, and in the menu that appears, click on Remove.

Deleting a shared library
If you want to delete the iCloud photo library you've created, launch native Photos again and head to the bar at the top of the screen, where you'll click Photos -> Settings. At the top of the settings window, click the Shared Library tab, head to the bottom of the window, and click the button here Delete a shared library. Finally, choose how your posts should be handled.
