As in any other operating system, you can install fonts in macOS that you download or purchase on the Internet or in various applications. If you are primarily among the individuals who are interested in graphics, or if you create any similar content, then you will surely give me the truth when I say that there are never enough fonts. There are many different sources from which fonts can be drawn. But what if I told you that macOS is full of all kinds of fonts, but you can't see them because they're disabled?

How to Install Hidden Fonts on Mac

If you would like to find out how you can install hidden fonts on Mac, then it is not difficult. At the outset, however, it is necessary to note that you must have it installed macOS 10.15 Catalina whether macOS 11 BigSur. If you have an older system installed, you will not be able to use the procedure that I present below:

  • First, you need to launch the app on your Mac Book of scriptures.
    • You can find this application in Applications -> Utilities, or you can start it simply via spotlight.
  • As soon as you start the application, a window will appear with the fonts that you installed manually.
  • Now it is necessary that you move to the section in the left menu All fonts.
  • This will list all the fonts that are available in macOS.
  • Then pay attention font list, specifically grayed out items.
  • Any grayed-out font means it's available but disabled in macOS.
  • If you want some of the fonts activate, so tap on it right click.
  • From the menu that appears, just tap on Download the "Scripture Title" family.
  • Another window will appear, in which finally press the button Download.

So using the above method, hidden fonts can be installed within macOS. Once you've done the last step above, all you have to do is wait for the whole family to download completely. You will be able to start using it right away. Note, however, that in some applications, the new fonts may not appear immediately - in this case, you just need to close and restart the application. To remove one of the font families, simply right-click on it again in the Font Book and then select the option Delete the "Scripture Name" family. However, note that some system fonts cannot be removed.
