If it weren't for all kinds of notifications and announcements, which we receive on our devices by hundreds every day, we would simply be out of the picture. We wouldn't be able to see who wrote to us, what was happening in the world, or even where our ordered Christmas gifts were. We would have to manually check everything directly in the applications, which would definitely be very annoying. On the other hand, however, notifications from certain applications - for example from Twitter, Instagram, or from a completely different application - can be annoying. With silent notifications, you can set notifications from certain apps to be delivered to the notification center, but not to appear on the lock screen, play a sound, or display a banner.

How to use silent notifications on iPhone or iPad

On your iPhone or iPad, move to notification center and find notification, for which you want to activate silent notifications. Once you find the notification, follow it swipe from right to left.
