Perhaps you have ever found yourself in a situation, for example while traveling, when you needed to quickly upload an image to the web or send it to a friend. As you probably know, today's iPhone photos are often several megabytes, and if you have a slow Internet connection, one such image can take several minutes to upload. But there is a way you can upload images to the Internet faster - just reduce their size. In most cases, you will not use the image in full resolution on the website anyway. Unfortunately, no native application will help you reduce the size of a photo or image. Therefore, you need to reach for a third-party application. Today we will imagine one such and describe how to easily reduce the size of the image in it.

How to easily change the size of a photo or image in iOS

Specifically, we will use an application Compress Photos & Pictures, which you can download for free from this link. Once you've done that, it's a simple matter of applying start. Then click on the icon + in the middle of the screen and enable application access to photos. Now you just need albums choose those photos or pictures, which you want to shrink. Once marked, click on the button in the upper right corner Next. Then use the sliders to choose the quality the resulting photo, as well as how much it will be reduced dimensions. You can click on the option to view before and after photos Preview Once you have everything set up, click the purple button Compress x photos. After that, the downsizing process will begin and the app will finally show you how much the resulting photo has been downsized. At the very end, you can then choose whether you want to delete or keep the original photos.

I chose this app because it is very easy to use. It can also work with all image formats, from the classic JPG or PNG to the newer HEIF and HEIC. The app has been working great for the past few months that I've been using it, and every time I need to shrink an image, I go to it. So, if you also often need to reduce the quality of images and you don't want to drag your MacBook everywhere, then I can recommend the Compress Photos & Pictures application.
