How to improve the quality of music played from Spotify on iPhone

If you would like to adjust the quality of downloaded music on your iOS (or iPadOS) device, or the quality when playing via Wi-Fi or mobile data, just follow the instructions below:

  • First it is necessary that you do Spotify moved on your iPhone (or iPad).
  • Once you've done that, on the main page, tap on the top right gear icon.
  • On the next options screen that appears, locate and tap on Sound quality.
  • There are already presets here, which can be used to determine how good the sound will be.
  • Specifically, you can choose the quality at streaming via Wi-Fi or mobile data, and also quality downloaded music.
  • Yours selected quality just enough tick – if you want increase quality, so choose High whether Very high.

Be aware, however, that if you increase the quality of the music being played (mainly via mobile data), then there will be a higher data consumption, which can be a problem especially for individuals who do not have a large data package. However, if you have a large data package, there is nothing stopping you from resetting. Low quality corresponds to a speed of 24 kbit/s, normal quality 96 kbit/s, high quality 160 kbit/s and very high then 320 kbit/s.
