If you are one of the true Apple fans, I probably don't need to remind you that a few weeks ago we saw the release of public versions of new operating systems from Apple. If you missed this fact, the Californian giant specifically came with iOS and iPadOS 15, macOS 12 Monterey, watchOS 8 and tvOS 15. All these systems were presented at this year's developer conference WWDC21, which took place in June. Immediately after its end, Apple released the first beta versions of the systems for all developers and testers. Since then, we've been covering all the news and improvements from the new systems in our magazine - and this article will be no exception. In it, we will look at another new option from iOS 15.

How to change the font size on iPhone only in a specific application

If we were to single out the biggest news from iOS 15, it would be, for example, the new Focus modes, the redesigned FaceTime and Safari applications, or even Live Text. Of course, there are also slightly smaller functions available, which can be very useful for selected users. If you wanted to adjust the font size in iOS until now, you could, but only in the entire system. Of course, this is not entirely ideal, because in some applications the user does not have to pay for resizing. The good news is that there has been a change in iOS 15 and now we can change the text size in each app separately. Just follow these steps:

  • First, on an iPhone with iOS 15, move to the native app Settings.
  • Once you do, go down a little below, where you click the section Control Center.
  • Then get off here again below, up to the category called Other Controls.
  • In this group of elements, then click on the + icon at the element Text size.
  • This will add the element to the control center. Change its position if you want.
  • After that drag to the app where you want to change the font size.
  • Then in the classic way open the control center, as follows:
    • iPhone with Touch ID: swipe up from the bottom of the screen.
    • iPhone with Face ID: swipe down from the top right corner of the screen;
  • Then click on the added element in the control center Text size s icon aA.
  • Then select an option at the bottom of the screen Just [app name].
  • Once you do so, by using column in the middle of the screen do it change font size.
  • Finally, once you have the font size changed, so close the control center.

So, through the above method, one can change the text size in a specific app on iPhone with iOS 15. This will be especially appreciated by older users, who often set the font to be larger, or, on the contrary, younger individuals who set the font to be smaller, which means that more content fits on their screen. The text in the entire system can be changed using the above procedure, it is only necessary to select an option All applications. If necessary, it is still possible to change the size of the text in Settings -> Display and Brightness -> Text Size.
