New operating systems from Apple in the form of iOS and iPadOS 15, macOS 12 Monterey, watchOS 8 and tvOS 15 have been with us for several long months. Specifically, we saw the presentation of the mentioned systems at this year's developer conference WWDC. At this conference, the apple company traditionally presents new major versions of its systems every year. Immediately after the end of the presentation, the Californian giant launched the first developer beta versions of the mentioned systems, later also beta versions for public testers. Currently, the mentioned systems, except for macOS 12 Monterey, have been available to the general public for several long weeks. In our magazine, we are constantly looking at new features and improvements that we have received. In this article, we'll take another look at iOS 15.

How to Create a New Focus Mode on iPhone

One of the biggest new features in iOS 15 is undoubtedly Focus modes. These replace the original Do Not Disturb mode and offer countless different functions compared to it, which are definitely worth it. We can create countless different Focus modes, where you can then set who will be able to call you, or which application will be able to send you notifications. In addition, there are many other options available to hide notification badges on app icons or pages on the home screen after activating Focus mode - and much more. We've already looked at virtually all of these choices together, but we haven't shown the basics. So how does one even create Focus mode on an iPhone?

  • First, go to the native app on your iPhone Settings.
  • Once you do, just a little bit below click the section Concentration.
  • Then, in the upper right corner, click on the + icon.
  • Then it starts simple guide, from which you can create a new Focus mode.
  • You can choose already preset mode whether a completely new and custom mode.
  • You first set up in the wizard mode name and icon, you will then perform specific settings.

So, through the above procedure, a new Focus mode can be created on your iOS 15 iPhone. In any case, the mentioned guide only guides you through the basic settings. Once the Focus mode is created, I recommend that you go through all the other options. In addition to setting which contacts will call you or which applications will be able to send you notifications, you can choose, for example, to hide notification badges or pages on the desktop, or you can let other users know in the Messages application that you have turned off notifications. In our magazine, we have already covered practically all possibilities from the Concentration, so it is enough for you to read the relevant articles.
