If you want to change the chat background for each conversation separately within the WhatsApp application, you must first update WhatsApp. So just go to the App Store and search for WhatsApp there, or click on this link, and then click the Update button. I personally have version 2.20.130 installed, in which the new function described above is already present. To change the background in a specific chat, follow these steps:

• If you have an app WhatsApp updated to the latest version, so it run.
• After starting, move to the section in the bottom menu Cottages.
• Now click on the new screen conversation, in which you want to change the background.
• Once you've done that, tap on at the top username, possibly on group name.
• Within this section, click on the box with the title Wallpaper and sound.
• Then click on the option Choose a new wallpaper, which will open the change interface.
• Now it's enough choose that wallpaper which will suit you.
• You can choose from several pre-prepared wallpapers that you can find in the folders Colorful, Dark and Monochrome.
• If you don't like any of the native wallpapers, just click the box below Photo.
• Once selected, a preview will appear where you can set the moving wallpaper and location.
• Once you're done, tap on Set up.
• Finally, you can use slider also set how much it will be light or dark background.
