The power of cell phones is that once you unbox them and fire up the camera app, you can immediately take photos and videos with them. Just aim at the scene and press the shutter, anytime and (almost) anywhere. But the result will also look like that. So it takes some thought to make your images as pleasing as possible. And from that, here is our series Taking photos with an iPhone, in which we show you everything you need. Now let's see how to hide the photos you don't want among the others in the Photos app. The Photos app is where you'll find all your records, not only when it comes to photos and videos, but also when we're talking about screenshots. Whether you browse your records through the Library or Albums menu, you may want to hide certain content from them. This is simply because it is a sensitive topic, or if you don't want e.g. the mentioned print screens, etc. to be displayed here.

How to hide photos and videos in Photos on iPhone

If you hide that content, you don't delete it from your device. All you'll achieve is that it won't appear in your photo layout. Afterwards, you can always find it in the album Hidden.

  • Open the application Fotky.
  • On the menu Library or Alba select the menu at the top right Choose.
  • Specify such Contents, which you don't want to display anymore.
  • Down on the left choose the share icon.
  • Scroll down and select a menu Skryt.
  • Then confirm hiding selected items.

If you then go to the menu Alba and scroll down, you'll see a menu here Hidden. After clicking on it, the pictures that you hid are located here. To show them again, follow the same procedure as for hiding them. However, instead of the Hide menu, it is displayed here Uncover. You can also turn off the Hidden album so that it does not appear between albums. You do so when you go to Settings -> Fotky and turn off the menu here Album Hidden.
