The operating systems iOS and iPadOS 15, macOS 12 Monterey, watchOS 8 and tvOS 15 have been here with us for several long months. They were introduced specifically this June, at the developer conference WWDC21. Immediately after the presentation, the apple company released the first beta versions of these systems, which were initially available only to developers and subsequently to testers. A few weeks ago, Apple released public versions of these systems, except for macOS 12 Monterey for now. This means that any user who owns a supported device can currently install the mentioned systems. In our magazine, we are constantly focusing on all the news and improvements that are part of the new systems. In this article, we will cover iOS 15.

How to quickly share new screenshots on iPhone

If you take a screenshot on your iPhone, it will appear as a thumbnail in the lower left corner of the screen. If you click on this thumbnail, you can immediately make various adjustments and annotations. If you would like to share the created screenshot right away, you need to tap on the thumbnail and select the sharing option, or you need to wait until the image appears in Photos, from where you can share it. But what if I told you that in iOS 15 there is a new option to share screenshots faster? Thanks to this feature, you are able to simply take a picture and then drag it to where you need it. Proceed as follows:

  • First on your iPhone with iOS 15 take a classic screenshot:
    • iPhone with Face ID: press the side button and the volume up button at the same time;
    • iPhone with Touch ID: press the side button and the home button at the same time.
  • Once you've taken a screenshot, a thumbnail will appear in the lower left corner.
  • Na then hold your finger on the thumbnail. After a while the border will disappear, even after that keep your finger on the thumbnail.
  • Then with the other finger open the app, in which you want to share the image (you can move to the home screen).
  • Once you open the app, you're in it move to where you need – for example, a conversation, a note, etc.
  • Subsequently, it is enough that you drop the screenshot where you want to paste it.

So, through the above procedure, you can quickly and easily share the screenshot you just took on your iPhone with iOS 15. It should be mentioned that this procedure currently only works with native applications, such as Messages, Mail, Notes and others. We hope to see support for third-party applications soon. At the same time, you should know that if you perform the above procedure, the screenshot will still be saved in the Photos application, from where you may have to delete it.
