As part of this version, we received several different novelties, the biggest of which include, for example, the addition of support for AirPods Max, or the integration of the Fitness+ service. But the truth is that there have also been several minor changes - one of them includes the option to set the Ecosia search engine as the default. As the name suggests, the Ecosia search engine is ecological in a certain respect - see the last paragraph. Below you can learn how you can set it as the default.

How to Set Ecosia Search Engine as Default on iPhone

If you want to set the Ecosia search engine as the default on your iOS or iPadOS device, it is not difficult. Proceed as follows:

  • Before you do anything, make sure you have it installed iOS whether iPadS 14.3.
  • If you meet the above condition, open the native application on your iPhone or iPad Settings.
  • Once you've done that, go down a notch below, until you hit a line safari, which you tap.
  • This will take you to the preferences of Apple's native Safari web browser.

  • A list of all available search engines will appear where Check Ecosia.

Therefore, if you search for something in the address bar in Safari, you will not see results from Google, but from Ecosia. In the Czech Republic, this search engine is relatively usable, in any case, there is definitely room for improvement. In any case, with the mentioned search engine, the point is that the earnings are invested in planting trees in the worst locations in the world - for example in Burkina Faso.
