In iOS 15 and other latest operating systems, Apple decided to focus mainly on increasing user productivity. We got Focus modes, which completely replaced the original Do Not Disturb mode. Within Focus, you can create several different modes that can then be used in different situations - for example at work, at school, while playing games or while relaxing at home. In each of these modes, you can set where you can be called, which apps will be able to send you notifications, and a few other options. Among other things, you can increase your productivity in iOS 15 by using scheduled notification summaries.

How to Enable Scheduled Notification Summaries on iPhone

If you want to be as productive as possible, your best bet is to turn off your iPhone completely. During the day, we receive countless different alerts and notifications, and we respond to most of them practically immediately, even if we don't have to. And it's this immediate reaction to notifications that can really freak you out, which you can easily combat in iOS 15 thanks to scheduled notification summaries. If you activate this function, notifications from selected applications (or even from all of them) will not go to you at the time of delivery, but at a specific time that you set in advance. At this set time, you will then receive a summary of all notifications that have come to you since the last summary. The procedure for activation is as follows:

  • First, go to the native app on your iPhone Settings.
  • Once you do, just a little bit below click the column with the name Notification.
  • Here then at the top of the screen tap on the option Scheduled summary.
  • This will take you to the next screen where using the switch enable Scheduled Summary.
  • It will then be displayed to you simple guide, in which you can customize your first scheduled summary.
  • First, go to the guide select apps, that you want to include in the summaries, and then se select times when they will be delivered to you.
  • Finally, just tap on at the bottom of the screen Turn on notification summary.

So, using the above procedure, it is possible to activate scheduled notification summaries on iPhone in iOS 15. As soon as you activate them in this way, you will find yourself in a full-fledged interface in which it is possible to manage scheduled summaries. Specifically, you'll be able to add more time for the summary to be delivered, plus you can view stats below to see how many times a day you get notifications from certain apps and more. So if you don't want to be a "notification slave" any more, then definitely use scheduled summaries - I can say from my own experience that this is a great feature, thanks to which you can focus much better on work and everything else.
