Maybe I'm coming up with a well-worn trick, but recently discovering it has helped me save precious minutes several times. It's about mass rotating images and changing their dimensions when you don't want to use tools like Photoshop or Pixelmator for this purpose. System Preview can do everything quickly and easily.

Preview is a simple image viewer that is part of OS X. So if you have several images that you want to rotate or change their size en masse in any way, then the application from Apple can easily handle it.

In Preview, open all the images you want to edit at once. It is important that you do not open them one at a time (opening in individual Preview windows), but at once so that they open in a single application window. Keyboard shortcuts can also be used in the Finder for such a step – CMD+A to label all images and CMD+O to open them in Preview (if you don't have another program set as default).

When you have images open in Preview, in the left panel (when viewing Miniatures) to select all images again (CMD+A, or Edit > Select All), and then you will already perform the required action. You use shortcuts to rotate images cmd + r (rotate clockwise) or CMD + L (rotate counterclockwise). Attention, mass rotation does not work with the gesture on the touchpad.

If you want to change the size, you mark all the images again and select Tools > Resize…, select the desired size and confirm.

At the end, just press (while marking all images). CMD+S for saving or Edit > Save All and you are taken care of.
