Apple Watch comes with several native apps that you can use. However, just like on an iPhone, iPad or Mac, you can also download and install third-party applications on the Apple Watch. You can use the App Store for this, or by default, all applications installed on your iPhone will be automatically downloaded to the Apple Watch - that is, of course, if their "watch" version is available. Of course, this may not suit all individuals, as some applications do not need to be used at all, thus only taking up storage space.

How to (de)activate automatic installation of applications on Apple Watch

In the event that you also have countless applications installed on your Apple Watch from the beginning due to the automatic installation of applications that you have not used in your life, you might be interested in how you can (de)activate this function. Of course, this is nothing complicated and you can easily perform the entire procedure directly on your Apple phone. So stick to the following steps:

  • First, you need to go to the native app on your iPhone Watch.
  • Once you've done that, scroll down to the section at the bottom of the screen My watch.
  • Then scroll down a bit to find and click on the box In general.
  • Here you only need to use the switch at the top (de)activated possibility Automatic installation of applications.

Using the above procedure, you can turn off or turn on the automatic installation of applications on your Apple Watch. If you activate, any new apps you install on your iPhone will automatically be installed on your Apple Watch. By deactivating, you will prevent exactly this. However, it should be noted that after deactivating the function, already installed applications will not be automatically removed - they must be removed manually. You can do so directly on the iPhone in the application Watch, where in the section My watch get off all the way down a application, that you want to delete open. Then all you have to do is vdisable display or uninstall. See the galleries below for instructions on how to uninstall apps from your Apple Watch.
