How to Disable Auto-Launch Music App on Apple Watch

Streaming services can therefore save you time and nerves, and above all, you will support the creator. If you also own an Apple Watch in addition to an iPhone, you certainly know that you can easily control music applications, such as Spotify or Apple Music, through them, which can come in handy.

How to Disable Auto-Launch Music App on Apple Watch

However, if you start playing some music, the Apple Watch will automatically launch the specific music application from which the music is playing, which is annoying for most users. This means that the music application will start, for example, after getting into the car and in other cases when music playback starts. In previous versions of watchOS, you could simply disable this feature in the General section of Settings, but with the arrival of the new version of watchOS 8, this feature has moved elsewhere. It can now be deactivated as follows:

• First, on your Apple Watch, go to application list.
• Then find and open the application in the list of applications Settings.
• Then go down a piece below, up to the section Display and brightness, which you click on.
• Next, get off all the way down where the option is located Automatically launch audio applications.
• If you want to turn off the automatic launch of music applications, so deactivate the function using the switch.
