If you want to enjoy certain movies on Apple TV to the fullest, then in addition to the picture, the sound is equally important. The sound can be different for different genres - it's practically clear that the sound for novels will not be as "aggressive" as for example for action films. However, with action movies, you can sometimes encounter passages that have the sound amplified for greater drama. This is exactly the moment when most of us pick up the remote, turn down the volume, and then turn it up again after a few seconds. At the same time, these loud noises are often annoying to other family members, as the TV can really "scream" at times.

How to mute sounds that are too loud on Apple TV

Apple is aware of this, which is why they decided to add a setting to their Apple TV to get rid of these loud sounds for good. That way, you won't have to look for the mute control in certain scenes, and at the same time you'll be sure that you won't disturb anyone. If you want to activate the option to mute loud sounds on your Apple TV, do it first run and open the native app on the home screen Settings. Once you do so, select an option from the menu that appears Video and audio. After that, all you have to do is lose something below to the category named Audio. Move to the box here Mute loud noises a click on it to set this feature as Turned on.

You have successfully achieved that all excessively loud sounds will be automatically muted. The entire soundtrack of the film will thus become more "normal". Personally, I've been using this feature since the first day I bought my Apple TV. I don't like it when the film starts to "shout" and I have to turn it down and then turn it up again. I can easily leave the controller with this setting lying on the table and I will be 100% sure that I will not need it to change the volume.
