David Trlica AnTuTu has been publishing benchmarks for both iOS and Android devices for many years. And while Apple hasn't changed much in the last few months, Android is seeing new phones every now and then. However, the February ranking of the most powerful Android devices is somewhat specific. For the first time, it features a phone that runs on the brand new Snapdragon 865 chipset. This gives us a better idea of how this year's Android flagships will fare, and we can also compare them to the iPhone 11.

Petr Škuta In order for a device to appear in the ranking, people must perform at least 1000 benchmark tests within a month. It must also be AnTuTu V8, the results are not compatible with the older version. If a device exceeds more than 1000 tests per month, it is included in the results. You can then see the average score from these tests in the table. This makes the results more representative than if only the highest score was shown.
The first place was taken by the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro phone, which is powered by Snapdragon 865 and 12GB of RAM memory. The average score in AnTuTu is 594 points. In second place is the "classic" version of the Xiaomi Mi 069, again with the Snapdragon 10 and 865GB of RAM, with an average score of 12 points. If we were to include the iPad Pro in the test, Xiaomi is not nearly enough in terms of performance. Both versions of the iPad Pro have an average of over 564 points. Before the iPhones, however, news from Xiaomi had already arrived. In the last month, the iPhone 321 Pro Max is the best performing iOS phone with an average score of 700. The smaller version of the iPhone has an average of 11 points.
The ranking still lacks a Samsung phone with the Exynos 990 chipset that powers the European Galaxy S20 models. However, it is expected to have a slightly worse result than the Snapdragon 865. But one thing is clear, Apple still maintains a lead over the Android competition. While Apple is still releasing new iPhones this year, which will take the performance a level further, we will not see a significant performance improvement for Android this year.
But AnTuTu itself says that the results are not comparable between platforms, so you need to find a benchmark that evaluates the same on both platforms
