Operating systems from Apple offer a number of functions, including so-called automatic filling. This function can greatly facilitate your work and save time when filling out various forms, not only when shopping on the Internet. How does AutoFill work in macOS, how to activate this feature and how to use it?

If you're like most people, you probably don't remember the login information for every online account you have, or most of your credit card information. Repeated searches and subsequent manual entry of this data can be relatively lengthy and tiring, and not only when shopping on the Internet. Fortunately, the function called Automatic filling can greatly facilitate and speed up the entry of this data.

What is AutoFill in Safari and how does it work?

AutoFill is a feature in Safari that allows you to fill out web forms automatically. The first time you fill out a form, this feature prompts you to save the relevant information, which you can then use every time you fill out the same or a similar form. By default, this data is stored locally in Safari and in iCloud Keychain.

When you fill in the fields in the online shopping cart or you can't remember the password k Netflix, the AutoFill feature fills the field with a single click. This is incredibly useful in time-sensitive situations, such as when you need to order a ticket for a concert that sells out quickly. You no longer have to waste time entering data manually.

Adding an account username and password through AutoFill on Mac is a simple process. On a Mac, run Safari and then click Safari -> Preferences in the menu bar at the top of the screen.
