How do you listen to music these days? Do you turn on the radio, play a CD, or keep an offline MP3 library that you constantly transfer between your computer and phone based on what you want to listen to? Then, of course, there are music streaming platforms that give you an incredibly comprehensive library for a few crowns a month. If you want to try one, you can find here how long you can do so for free.

Spotify

The long-term leader in the field of music streaming services certainly belongs to Spotify. But it's kind of on a swing in terms of the trial period it gives you. Now, in addition, as the competition gets stronger, they have to try to get new listeners all the time. Until August 2019, the free trial period of the Premium plan was only one month, but because there was a big threat from the growing Apple Music, Spotify extended this trial period for a limited time to three months. But once the market settled down a bit, it changed its strategy, and now it has a standard month to try the premium plan. At present, you can enjoy 3 months for free again, but again only for a limited time - namely until September 11. After that, it will be available again for "only" one month.

However, if you are interested in Spotify without ads and with more playback options, if you activate the Premium tariff by September 11, 2022, you will get the three months of free listening again for free. Although this offer is unrivaled, it is important to remember that it is only available for a limited time.

Apple Music

The Apple Music service was launched already in June 2015. It was the first major service of the series that followed (TV+, Arcade, Fitness+). New subscribers got a free month or even half a year of free trials if they bought the company's device. Apple has not touched this practically since the creation of the service, so what was said actually applies even now.

YouTube Music

Google's music platform takes its name from the popular video platform, to which it is currently adding a music label. A premium account unlocks the full potential of the platform without annoying ads, and following the beaten path of competitors, you can also try YouTube Music for free for one month before you have to pay a monthly subscription.

Tidal

Tidal has long been one of those platforms that stood out for its content quality. However, even Spotify and Apple Music in this regard are trying and constantly improving, which is why they add lossless music or music with surround sound. Of course, Tidal can also do it, which has several paid tariffs graded precisely according to the quality of the music provided. In all cases, however, like its competition, it offers 30 days to try the service for free.

Deezer

The French Deezer was founded in 2007, i.e. one year after Spotify, when it is still the current leader in the field of music streaming services on the domestic market. But it is not that popular in our country, which is evidenced by the fact that its free tariff is not available here. However, if you want to try the service, you will receive an obligatory month on the Family and Premium tariffs without the need to pay.
